Artist of The Week: Sam Smith

Samuel Frederick "Sam" Smith (lahir 19 Mei 1992) adalah penyanyi-penulis lagu asal Inggris. Dia naik menjadi terkenal pada Oktober 2012 ketika ia tampil di single "latch", yang memuncak pada nomor sebelas di chart Inggris. Fitur-on selanjutnya nya Nughty Boy "La La La" menjadi nomor satu di chart Mei 2013.

Pada Desember 2013, Smith dinominasikan untuk Choice Award 2014 BRIT Critics 'dan BBC Sound of 2014. Dia merilis debut album studionya, Dalam Lonely Hour, pada 26 Mei 2014 melalui Capitol Records. The lead single, "Lay Me Down", dirilis sebelum "La La La". Single kedua, "Money on My Mind", dirilis pada 16 Februari.
