Martin Fitzgerald Lawrence (lahir 16 April 1965) adalah seorang komedian standup Amerika, aktor, produser, pembawa acara bincang-bincang, penulis, dan mantan petinju Sarung Tangan Emas. Lawrence menjadi terkenal selama 1990-an, membangun karir Hollywood sebagai aktor terkemuka. Dia mulai bermain sebagai Maurice Warfield di What's Happening Now !! (1987-1988). Dia adalah aktor utama dalam sitkom televisi Fox Martin, franchise Bad Boys, dan House Party, Boomerang, Wild Hogs, Nothing to Lose, Blue Streak, Life, Big Momma's House, dan A Thin Line Between Love and Hate.
Pada hari-hari awalnya, Lawrence melakukan pertunjukan komedi di daerah Washington, D.C., dan menghidupi dirinya sendiri melalui pekerjaan sambilan. Komedian Ritch Snyder melihat aktingnya dan menyarankan Lawrence membuat koneksi di New York. Lawrence akhirnya pindah ke New York City dan menemukan jalannya ke The Improv yang legendaris.
