Setelah lulus, Kim membuat nama untuk dirinya sendiri memainkan banyak peran dalam berbagai program televisi. Dia muncul di CSI: Crime Scene Investigation sebagai agen perbendaharaan serta episode Star Trek: Voyager, Star Trek: Enterprise, Charmed, The Shield, Seinfeld, NYPD Blue dan ER. Dia adalah pemain tetap dalam Perang Salib spin-off Babel 5 yang berumur pendek dan memiliki peran berulang di Angel dan 24.
