Actor of The Week: Gerard Butler

Gerard James Butler (lahir 13 November 1969) adalah aktor dan produser film Skotlandia. Setelah mempelajari hukum, Butler beralih ke dunia akting pada pertengahan 1990-an dengan peran kecil dalam produksi seperti Mrs Brown (1997), film James Bond Tomorrow Never Dies (1997), dan Tale of the Mummy (1998). Pada tahun 2000, ia membintangi sebagai Count Dracula dalam film horor gothic Dracula 2000 bersama Christopher Plummer dan Jonny Lee Miller.

Dia kemudian memerankan Attila the Hun di miniseri Attila (2001) dan kemudian muncul di film Reign of Fire dengan Christian Bale (2002) dan Lara Croft: Tomb Raider - The Cradle of Life dengan Angelina Jolie (2003), sebelum bermain sebagai André Marek dalam adaptasi Timeline petualangan fiksi ilmiah Michael Crichton (2003).
